With
a Bachelor’s degree in percussion by UNESP
( University of the State of
São Paulo) and ex member of the PIAP Ensemble,
he began his percussion
studies in 1991 in the Municipal School of Music
with Elizabeth Del Grande
and Joaquim Abreu. He studied with John Boulder,
Eduardo Gianesella and
Carlos Stasi, and also studied piano for four years
with Denise Perez Manzo.
He plays as guest musician with various Symphonic
Orchestras such as:
Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São
Paulo (OSESP), Orquestra Sinfonica
da Radio e Televisão Cultura, Orquestra Sinfônica
de Santo André, etc.
He participated in the staging of the Wizard of
OZ, touring Latin América.
He recorded a CD with the PIAP Ensemble, playing
in various concerts
throughout the country. Besides being a talented
musician he also is
a musical director for theatrical performances in
the city of São Paulo,
and teaches percussion in music festivals and projects
by the state
government. He is currently percussionist with the
Experimental
Repertoire Orchestra.
