Bachelor degree in percussion from UNESP (University of
the State of São Paulo) and ex member of the PIAP Ensemble,
he began his percussion studies in the city of Uberlândia ,
Minas Gerais, where in 1997 he entered the Federal University
of Uberlândia. He studied with John boulder, Carlos Stasi
and Eduardo Gianesella. He played in the Orchestra
Experimental de Repertório and Banda Sinfônica Jovem
do Estado de São Paulo (Sao Paulo´s Youth Symphonic
Orchestra), and was special guest performer with various
other orchestras. He recorded the “Academic Orchestra”
CD in the Campos de Jordão Festival, and also recorded
with the PIAP Ensemble, touring the country as well. In 2003
he was awarded, together with the PIAP Ensemble, the APCA
prize as the “Best Chamber Music Group”. Currently he is
Timpanist with the Symphonic Orchestra of USP (OSUSP),
and percussionist for the Symphonic Band of Cubatão.
