Bachelor
of Arts degree in Percussion and ex member of PIAP
Ensemble, he began his studies of percussion in
the Municipal School of Music in 1979 under the
auspices of Djalma Colaneri, being a member of the
Percussion Ensemble
of the school. He also studied with John Boulder
and Mario Frungilo at
UNESP ( University of the State of São Paulo)
. He was percussionist
for the Symphonic Orchestra of the State of São
Paulo (OSESP) and
the Culture Symphony Orchestra, he plays as guest
musician in various orchestras such as: USP Symphonic
Orchestra (OSUSP), Municipal
Orchestra of São Paulo, Symphonic Band of
São Paulo and the OSUSP.
He was one of the winners together with PIAP of
the II Eldorado Music
Prize, playing in various concerts through out the
country as well as
recording in radio, TV and CD. He participated in
tours with PIAP in
the United States in 1987, including the International
Percussion
Convention in St. Louis. He played in chamber music
groups
such as Duo Dialogos, Percorso Ensemble, Trupe Contemporanea
among others. Since 1994 he is Monitor for the Experimental
Repertoire Orchestra.
