Master
Degree in Musical Performance (Percussion) in the
University of Aveiro (Portugal) in the classes of
Miquel Bernat (ESP) and Evgueni Zoudilkine (RUS),
he is Bachelor of Arts degree in percussion, having
graduated from
the UNESP (University of the State of São
Paulo). Ex member of
the PIAP Ensemble, he started his musical education
in the Brasilia
School of Music with Professor Paulo Marques and
with percussion
master Wellington Vidal in 1999. He studied with
John Boulder,
Carlos Stasi, and Eduardo Gianesella. He plays as
guest
performer in various Symphonic Orchestras in Brazil
and Portugal,
such as: Orquestra Sinfônica do Teatro Nacional
Cláudio Santoro,
Orquestra Sinfônica do Paraná, Orquestra
Sinfônica do Estado
de São Paulo, Orquestra Filarmonia das Beiras,
etc. He was
winner of the São Paulo Municipality’s
First Young performers
Festival in 2003. In that same year he was awarded
along
with the PIAP Ensemble, the “Best Chamber
Music Group”.
He won the First Prize of Vibraphone in the IV International
Percussion Competition – PAS Italy 2006, making
a concert in that country.
He directs music scores for theatrical performances
in São Paulo.
His arrangements have been played and recorded by
the PIAP Ensemble
by the Radio Cultura. He performs throughout South
America and Europe.
